Step 3

Draw a 30-inch diameter circle on the 3 × 3-foot piece of plywood.
To do this, create a compass by tying a pencil on the end of some twine. Then spool out 30 inches of twine, and hold that length with your finger on the center point of the plywood. Draw your circle.
The circle doesn’t have to be perfect because you won’t see the edge once the ornaments are applied.

Protect The Children By Anchoring Large Furniture, Televisions and Appliances

Protect The Children By Anchoring Large Furniture, Televisions and Appliances

You know when people say a child changes everything in your life. Actually, the saying should include your house because with a kid exploring everything around, running or climbing almost every piece of furniture, you have to make some changes, if you care about their safety of course. The solution isn’t complex or costly. With the device shown in the video a TV set is prevented from falling over your loving son or daughter when they curiously pull or push on the furniture that supports it. The solution is in anti-tip devices! Easily installed and rather inexpensive, they will prove a great help in case of mishap. It can even work with you not having the possibility to anchor the TV furniture to the wall. Instead, secure the TV station to a lower, sturdy base, like the drawer itself. Check out the video provided to see what you risk if you don’t have these in your home and how safe it can be when you do have them!

DIY Twigs Rustic Furniture

DIY Twigs Rustic Furniture

Are you searching for a cool way to give your modern interior design a touch of rustic atmosphere? Need not to search for something else, because this simple yet impactful set of coffee table and seating bench will do exactly that. Built out of natural materials, like twigs and thin logs, and completed with glass and cushions, the piece of furniture you see in the picture will definitely add a nice vibe to your interior. A cup of tea drank alone or with your partner in this environment you have created will never feel as natural as with the twigs coffee table and bench. Decorate the table with a nice vase of flowers and the bench with a couple of pillows (with a flower pattern of course) and you have just brought a bit of your garden inside the home. And done it with an incredible blend into the modern design.

30 DIY Repurposed Headboard Ideas

30 DIY Repurposed Headboard Ideas
Changing your old bed, doesn’t mean you have to throw it out once you got a new one. At least not all its pieces. When it comes to the matress it’s quite obviouse how you can reuse it. But what about the other pieces of the bed, such as the headboard? Well, the headboard is not fire wood either, as you can make some changes and transform it into a bench. Just clean it, make small reparations if it’s damaged and then repaint the whole structure. This way you can make some brand new furniture pieces for your home or outdoor space. For instance, transform an old headboard into a stylish bench or use it to make a porch swing. You can also install the headboard on the wall and use it as a coat hanger. It will look great and if you place it right in your lobby it will give your entire home a very special and vintage look. The best part of these projects is the repainting of the headboard as you can really get creative with the colors and adapt it to the rest of your furniture and decorations.

DIY Outdoor Pallet Sofa

DIY Outdoor Pallet Sofa

Making outdoor furniture is a thing almost anybody can do without much craftsmanship and previous preparation. All you need at first is the determination to improve your yard design with a DIY piece of furniture. If you happen to get your hands on a pallet or more, than you’ve reached the perfect place because we are going to show you how easy it can be to transform something you would consider junk into a nice outdoor bench. Compared to other patio sets that can cost you a couple hundreds of dollars, this DIY project will imply expenses of no more than $120.

The bench is mainly made out of pallet, although the frame for the pallets is made from normal wood; purchase at Home Depot if you don’t have a few 3 by 3 or 4 by 4 lying around. Also, the arms were fashioned from an old futon frame salvaged wood. The final look is something impressive because of the different colors and tones to be found in the pallet, as well as the various markings in the wood. Add a bench cushion and a bunch of pillows in order to make the whole thing a lot more comfortable Read more details in the link below…Enjoy your afternoons outside on your beautiful DIY bench!
